Summer Activities

In the summer, The Burn, is a great base for a range of activites. A pleasant walk in the Craigieburn forest park, a hill top hike in the Korowai Torlesse tussockland park, a wander around the wonder of the Castlehill rocks or a visit to Arthur’s Pass national park there is something for everyone in the surrounding area. Located in the casltehill basin The Burn is host to opportunities of hiking, climbing, fishing, horse riding or just relaxing to name a few.

If fishing is your passion then a day out on a high country river could be for you. Fully guided fly fishing trips are available with your host in conjunction with Backcountry N.Z. For more info on fishing please click here
